Women’s Wellness Clinics
Women in rural areas often ignore their health due to stigma, lack of access, or economic constraints. Damooga Foundation runs Women’s Wellness Clinics that provide safe, supportive environments for women to receive specialized care.
These clinics offer gynecological check-ups, anemia testing, thyroid and diabetes screening, menstrual hygiene education, and mental health counseling. Held monthly in partnership with local PHCs and NGOs, they are staffed by women doctors and nurses to ensure comfort and privacy.
In addition to clinical services, the program addresses social barriers through group discussions, helplines, and peer support groups. Educational materials in local languages empower women to make informed choices about reproductive and preventive health.
By prioritizing women’s health, these clinics build stronger families and communities from within.
