Job Summary:

Damooga Foundation is seeking a skilled and imaginative Graphic Designer to join our team, dedicated to driving positive change through various social initiatives. As a Graphic Designer, you will play a pivotal role in visually conveying our mission and values across digital and print media. Your creative expertise will be essential in crafting engaging social media content, posters, event banners, and website designs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Development:
   - Create captivating graphics and visual content for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with the foundation's brand identity and messaging.

   - Conceptualize and design impactful posters, flyers, brochures, and promotional materials for a range of campaigns and events.

   - Craft visually appealing event banners for both physical and virtual gatherings.

   - Collaborate with the web development team to design, update, and maintain the foundation's website, providing an appealing and user-friendly experience for visitors.
 

2. Brand Consistency:
   - Uphold and reinforce the Damooga Foundation's brand identity in all design projects, maintaining consistency in design elements, color schemes, and fonts.

3. Content Creation:
   - Develop visually compelling and informative infographics and illustrations to communicate complex ideas and data effectively.

   - Design engaging newsletters, reports, and presentations for internal and external distribution.

4. Adaptability:
   - Display flexibility and readiness to tackle diverse design projects as required.

   - Stay informed about design trends and emerging technologies to enhance the quality and impact of our design work.

5. Collaboration:
   - Work closely with the marketing and communication teams to ensure that design projects align with campaign objectives and messaging.

   - Collaborate with various team members, including content creators and writers, to create cohesive and unified visual materials.

Qualifications:

- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.

- Demonstrated experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects.

- Proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and other relevant design tools.

- A solid grasp of design principles encompassing layout, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy.

- Knowledge of web design principles and experience with website design and maintenance.

- Exceptional time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines.

- Strong communication abilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

- A genuine passion for social causes and a dedication to the mission and core values of the Damooga Foundation.
