Job Summary

Corporate Partnership (B2B) vertical is the most important segment of the Resource Mobilization

section in Damooga Foundation as 80% of the resources for the organization are raised and managed by

this vertical. The purpose of the said position is to build partnerships with CSR Heads of corporate

primarily to raise funds for following interventions:

  • Education
  • Skill Development
  • Healthcare
  • Women Empowerment
  • Scholarship
  • Disaster Response

The incumbent shall create in-roads with the CSR Heads to present various programs of Damooga

Foundation as mentioned above. Further, the position will also collaborate with programme and

programme development teams towards proposal creation, ideation and sometimes joint pitching.
 

Job Description

  • Conceptualize, develop, maintain and implement successful business development
  • strategies as part of CSR mandate of corporates specifically with MNCs in order to achieve
  • the organization’s overall objectives.
  • Develop & amp; nurture effective donor communication to build long lasting relationships
  • through regular reports, presentations and meetings
  • Identify new income streams and produce strategies to implement the initiatives, build new
  • relationships with major corporates and brands, especially with CSR Heads for long term
  • support
  • Ability to design and develop fundraising strategies
  • activities, online campaigns and cause related marketing
  • Work closely with program team towards developing proposals, concept notes and pitch
  • decks
  • Manage all donor engagement activities and compliances such as reporting and timely
  • presentations, receipts and UCs
  • Continuous lead generation through extensive research and networking
  • Ensure achievements for self and team
  • Ensure effective donor nurturing and engaging corporate partners
  • Keep up to date with developments and compliance in fundraising
  • Budgeting, planning and ensuring high ROI activities

Qualifications & Experiences

Preferably an advanced university degree in marketing, international development/development studies, social sciences or similar fields.

Experience 

  • At least 7-8 years of work experience in business development (B2B) role with

experience in CSR based fundraising

  • The person should be a dynamic business development professional, having skills to
  • influence senior leaders in CSR space of corporates
  • Decent knowledge on CSR budgets, social campaigns activities
  • He/she should be adept at people management, building long-term relationships with
  • potential donors or existing partners
  • Ability to achieve fundraising targets

Skills and competencies

  • High energy, enthusiasm and passion towards delivering impactful results
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work cross function
  • Proven ability to build long term relationship with corporate clients
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and yet in a collaborative manner
